“I believe that the Youth should know of the history…mainly oral histories from the Elders on what needs to be passed down from generation to generation, so that it’s never lost…they are our future and are going to be the ones to carry on our traditions.”
Mike Sallis, from Lyackson First Nations, is a recently retired RCMP member and participant at the BC First Nation Justice Forum, they bring to us a unique perspective on the justice system, grounded in his experiences from both law enforcement and community advocacy.
